If you are considering weight-loss surgery, it is important that you are confident in the qualifications and skill of the consultant who would be carrying out your operation, as well as the nursing staff who will look after you during your recovery.

Weight-loss surgery at Holly House is carried out by experienced bariatric surgeons, with extensive experience in laparoscopic and obesity surgery.  Dietary advice and support is provided by one of our registered dieticians.

All our surgeons at Holly House Hospital are members of the General Medical Council (GMC).  The reputation and experience of our surgeons and other specialists is important to us, which is why we have a Medical Advisory Committee made up of surgeons and doctors from a wide range of specialities who are responsible for the granting of practicing privileges to all new consultants and specialists.

	Mr Sanjay Agrawal MBBS MS FRCSEd FRCSGlasg FRCS(Gen Surg) Consultant Bariatric Surgeon Mr Sanjay Agrawal is a consultant gastrointestinal surgeon specialising in obesity and advanced laparoscopic surgery at Homerton University Hospital in East London.
	Mr Yashwant Koak MS FRCS(Eng) FRCS(Gen) MDCH Consultant Bariatric Surgeon Mr Koak is an experienced upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon. He qualified from the University of Glasgow with MBChB in 1990, and is now at Homerton University Hospital whose Bariatric Surgical Unit serves the largest number of patients in UK.
