Rheumatology
Rheumatology is the branch of general medicine concerned with the development, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the joints, bones, muscles and connective tissue.
We can care for you from diagnosis through to treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from complex inflammatory disorders to degenerative joint disease and soft tissue disorders. We offer outpatient clinics with Consultant Rheumatologists, supported by our Diagnostic Centre for x-ray, ultrasound and MRI scanning. Your consultant also has access to other specialists within the hospital to work with and refer to as appropriate and our physiotherapy team for any rehabilitative treatment.

- Soft tissue disorders such as tennis elbow and carpal tunnel
- Tendon injuries
- Vasculitis
