Cancer care (oncology)
Oncology is the medical term for cancer services.
The oncology service at Holly House currently includes outpatient clinics, diagnostic radiology, chemotherapy and supportive care. We offer a comfortable and friendly environment with care from a multidisciplinary team of experts tailored to suit your individual needs. Our two specialist nurses have extensive experience in a wide range of malignancies. They provide support for patients from diagnosis through to treatment and follow-up, as well as working to develop the oncology service at Holly House.
Should you require surgical or interventional radiology procedures all our patient bedrooms are private ensuite rooms with comfortable seating for any friends or family. Chemotherapy treatments are also given in patient bedrooms by experienced nurse specialists.
We also have an onsite pathology laboratory and pharmacy with experienced staff contributing towards the diagnosis, management and safe delivery of chemotherapy. Holly House Hospital is a BUPA approved Breast Cancer Unit.
