Neurology
Neurology is the diagnosis and management of diseases affecting the nervous system which includes the brain, spinal cord and all the peripheral nerves, and neurosurgery is the surgical treatment of such diseases.
We can care for you from diagnosis to treatment at Holly House Hospital. We offer regular outpatient clinics with Consultant Neurologists to diagnose and medically manage neurological conditions. Your consultant may refer you to one of our Consultant Neurophysiologists if you require specialised testing of the electrical functions of your brain, spinal cord and nerves in the limbs and muscles to help identify the site of the neurological disturbance and its likely cause. Should further treatment be required, you would be referred to a Consultant Neurosurgeon.
