Counselling
Counselling is the provision of advice and psychological support by health professionals to help you explore your feelings and support you through any difficult times.
Counselling is provided on a one-to-one basis at Holly House, usually with an hour session every week for an agreed length of time. Each client is treated as an individual and therefore the number of sessions will vary according to your needs. The personal content of counselling sessions is strictly confidential to the counsellor. All our counsellors and therapists are bound by the code of ethics and practice of their respective professional associations such as the British Association of Counsellors.
Our counsellors have expertise in:
- Anxiety
- Bereavement
- Depression
- Marital and relationship problems
- Mental health problems
- Physical illness
- Post-natal depression
- Post-operative stress
- Post-traumatic stress
- Women's health problems.
