At Holly House, we believe looking after you after your surgery is an important part in helping you maintain your weight loss and health. Follow-up appointments are an important part of this, as is a named telephone contact (either the surgeon or a nurse at the Hospital) in case you have any pressing concerns or worries after your operation that cannot wait until your next appointment.  Your follow-up consultations may also be used to take blood tests to help monitor your recovery and progress.

Typically, for all weight loss surgery (excluding Lap Banding), you will have the following post-operative follow-up appointments:

• 2 week follow up appointment
• 6 week follow up appointment
• subsequent 12 week follow up appointments until 12 months after surgery.

Typically, for Lap Band patients:

• 2 week follow up appointment
• 6 week follow up appointment (to tighten the band)
• subsequent 2 - 4 week follow up appointment (to tighten band to correct level)
• a 1 year follow up appointment.

These follow-ups are included in the price of your surgery.
