Large text Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases of the eye and vision. Ophthalmology integrates with many other branches of medicine – for example, did you know that the commonest cause of visual impairment under the age of 65 years is diabetes?
Our service Our services range from routine eye-care tests to treatment of complex vision and eye-related problems, such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. We have a dedicated ophthalmic room for outpatient clinics and three fully-equipped theatres, should further treatment be required.
