If you decide you would like to arrange an outpatient appointment, treatment, scan or procedure with a consultant at Holly House, you will usually need a letter of referral from your GP.

As a private patient, it is your choice as to which hospital you are treated at and by which Consultant so you may want to ask your GP to specifically refer you to Holly House Hospital. A full list of our specialists is available on the drop down menu to the left.

There are however, a number of our services are available as a self-referral including the following:

• cosmetic surgery
• health screening
• private GP services
• sports injury clinic 
• physiotherapy

For outpatients appointments, (including physiotherapy), walk-in, walk-out procedures and all diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Breast Screening etc), patients from all major insurers, including PPP and BUPA LocalCare are accepted (please check your level of cover first as some policies may restrict what you are insured for).

All insured patients are accepted at Holly House, including those from BUPA and AXA-PPP (AXA-PPP from 1 April 2008) schemes. Patients are advised however to check their level of cover and to obtain agreement by their insurance company to cover their procedure as individual policies do vary.
