Some men and women feel that their chin looks too large or too small and is not in proportion to the rest of their face.  Chin augmentation is a procedure whereby a silicone implant is inserted to increase the size of the chin. It is usually carried out under general anaesthetic and an overnight stay in hospital may be required. It can be carried out on both men and women.
