Nearly nine million people in the UK, or one in seven of us, have a hearing problem.

Audiology is the study of hearing, especially of impaired hearing that cannot be corrected by drugs or surgery. Hearing tests are vital to pick up on loss of hearing as soon as possible, particularly in pre-school children. 

Our service
Holly House offers a comprehensive audiology service to determine the presence and nature of hearing loss. Tympanometry can also be carried out to assess middle ear function. The service works closely with GPs and specialists such as Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants to manage your care.  We see people with a range of audiology conditions including: 

• Auditory processing disorder (APD/CAPD) 
• Balance disorders
• Glue ear
• Hearing tests
• Oto-neurology
• Tinnitus
