Dr Rajiv Sood has over twenty five years experience in child health, including management of seriously ill children in A & E.
Dr Sood offers general paediatric clinics for any medical problems concerning children, as well as dedicated allergy clinics. He undertakes allergy testing, food challenges and immunotherapy clinics.
Dr Sood is a senior Paediatric Consultant and due to diligent hard work and exceptional commitment to the NHS over many years, has been awarded six 'Clinical Excellence Awards' from the Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards (ACCEA), which is an independent advisory committee on distinction awards.

Research interests
- Investigating the asthma preventing effect of GRAZAX (grass pollen sublingual immunotherapy)
- Investigating the long-term tapering versus standard prednisolone (steroid) therapy for the treatment of the initial episode of childhood nephrotic syndrome.
