Physiotherapy from a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist is available at Holly House Hospital for both inpatients and outpatients.

Physiotherapy uses exercise and manual therapy in conjunction with electrotherapy to treat musculo-skeletal problems such as muscle or ligament strains or aching joints, frozen shoulder, back and neck pain. Our Chartered Physiotherapists can also help regain mobility and advise on post-operative rehabilition following joint replacement and other orthopaedic procedures.

You do not need a GP referral for physiotherapy treatment and may access an appointment by calling 020 8936 1210.

Pelvic floor dysfunction

The Physiotherapy department also offers treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence.

Pilates

The Physiotherapy department teaches and offers pilates sessions to patients where appropriate.  This is conducted in conjunction with an independent local Pilates provider in nearby Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill. See their website for further details.
